The tragic story of Ida Dalser, the one time mistress of Italian Fascist leader, Benito Mussolini. She bore Mussolini a son before the outbreak of World War I. The two lost touch during the war years and, upon discovering him again in a hospital during the war, she also discovered his wife and daughter. Though Delser claimed to be married to Mussolini, no documentation of the marriage has ever been found. Delser later died in an asylum in 1937.
